Jennifer and I found our selves with two names for a gift exchange and no desire to go to the mall. The challenge for name #1 was sorted pretty quickly, and while I was gathering the goods for that one (a child's knitting kit) at the local thrift store, I found a long gauze tube - probably a light shade - on a metal ring. I suddenly thought of the yards of organza fabric I had leftover from a wedding decoration forgone and decided to rig up a play canopy. I removed the old piece of material and attached the canopy fabric with curtain rings made of felted wool, and then adorned it with felted flowers. Super!...challenge for name #2 solved as well, with a bill for the two of them at about $4.
