what does 100 pounds of wool look like?

heaven knows why i waited until july to do this, but i finally followed up on a contact i had that sells recycled wool by the pound. we drove down to the warehouse the other day and i came back with 50 lbs. of regular wool and 50 lbs. of merino, cashmere, and thinner wools, plus a pile of dress shirts to boot.

today, i worked on a merino poncho that fits mama and babe for my sister to try out.
