Today was my first attempt at revamping one of the many roller blinds in this house with new fabric and existing hardware. The first thing I learned was: get new hardware! But hey, it's still a better way to display this lovely piece of batik that was sitting forgotten in the fabric pile and the previous blind was completely in tatters. I also learned there's a local source for roller blind kits. I'm not quite ready to call this post "roller blinds are #1" but more are definitely in the works.
