Full Circle

I think it's about time I gave the wool diaper covers a rest.  This one was started a while ago when I was at an impasse with sewn ones because I felt I couldn't achieve the best fit that way.  So I decided to try knitting one, with ribbing, kitchener stitching and pattern modification.  Now that I've finally finished knitting it, the cover no longer fits him.  And I'm at the point when I'm happy with my sewn pattern again.  Sigh.

Wool Soakers

After some alterations, i'm pleased with the new design and fit of the Sew Oiseau soakers. Now i can offer the originals with elastic waistbands and these, with extra wide ribbing or folded knit interlock, all in pure wool:

Gabe's quickly outgrowing his diaper covers. I wanted to try ones without elastic at the waistband, just ribbed wool knit instead.
