Yikes! It has been ages...which isn't to say I haven't been doing anything. This blog was meant to remedy my problem with sewing and selling and not remembering, but alas I've just spent the last couple weeks preparing for tomorrow's sale and the goods are piling up. This is what happens when I use the serger for stitching stuffed carrots: flattened vegetable. I've stitched them all so far by hand, but I have some thin wool - this stuff, synthetically fuzzy as well - which I think I can put through my sewing machine quite easily. I'll give it a try and use this one for a felt board market garden scene!





Sloves and sloves-to-be in spring colours. I am a big fan of the moss green and teal combo.

This, on the other hand, I'm happy with. These sleeves were perfect for sloves, nice and stretchy, but a little too boring on their own. I only added a poppy to one.
Today is a day of two posts. Thankfully, we don't get internet at the cottage though I usually need one visit to the Southampton library. This past weekend was rather low-key with the cooler weather and the cold I got on Saturday. I have no more energy left.
